 About me

 

Alexandra Harris started studying Photography  when she was in year 8 at School. It became a passion and a career dream as she was finishing High School. 

At the end of Year 11, Alexandra decided to leave school and focus on following her heart and dreams of wanting to become a professional photographer. In 2018, Alexandra completed the Certificate 4 in Photography and Photo imaging. She then completed the Diploma of Photography and Photo imaging course in 2019. Alexandra continues to plan her career in the industry. 

 

Alexandra has always enjoyed being creative, and many different forms of Art. This includes: Embroidery, Visual Arts, Drawing and of course Photography. She has grown up in a very creative and talented family which has shown her many of the different art forms. 

 

    

 

Awards: 

Alexandra has had her images entered in multiple shows around Australia. These include: The Royal Melbourne show, Dandenong show, Pakenham show, Berwick show and more. 

2019- Royal Melbourne show- Maroondah Dam Mystery- Commended

2019- Dandenong show- Environmental portrait- Third,

Strawberry Still life- Highly Commended,

Iron Hand- Highly Commended, Infrared Garden- Commended  

2017- Dandenong show- Sunset- Best in show

2015- Dandenong Show- Peacock Feather- Reserve Champion
